“A Passing Day” competes in the short film competition at the Cairo International Film Festival

The short feature film A Passing Day, directed by Rasha Shaheen, will compete in its world premiere in the short film competition, as part of the activities of the 45th Cairo International Film Festival, scheduled to be held from November 15 to 24.

The events of the movie “A Passing Day” revolve around the life of a woman who was completely changed by the war. Due to the destruction of her previous life, she was forced to meet a man looking for pleasure. However, their short meeting turns into a glimpse of what her previous life was like, and they find themselves in a situation that reveals their need for emotional and human communication before… They wake up again to the dark reality of the city.

A group of actors participate in the film’s starring role, most notably: Reem Hijab and Khaled Kamal, scenic designer Onsi Abu Saif, director of photography Mustafa Al-Kashef, editing by Mona Rabie, mixing by Ahmed Jaber, produced by Red Star and directed by Rasha Shaheen.
